Successful entrepreneur based in Orange County California needs help in building new startup internet business. Due to the necessities of running a business, and overseeing several employees, I have an excess of important tasks to complete, but need careful attention by the right person. Job Responsibilities (categories, with specific examples):
Internet Research
Example: Find the names and email addresses of partner website that will interface with our company within the LA/Orange County area. Categorize the findings and rate them as partners. Also include: screenshots of the home page, URLs, and the types of interfaces on their site (Linkedin, Monster, Plaxo). This information will be used for pertnership calls, so it must be detailed.
Example: Identify all the job sites LA area (within 50 miles). Provide the names, phone numbers, and hours of operation.
Phone Based Research
Example: Call up local one stop Job partners in LA/OC calendar of recruiting events
Appointment Scheduling
Set up appointments with business associates based on shared time ability. Call for reservations at when necessary.
Other: Book Travel Itineraries, dealing with customer inquiries, read & sort through my email , and most importantly push me and my company to succeed.
Ideally the candidate would have some experience with finance, marketing and business mangement.
Job Requirements
You will work for my company e911Helpline Inc and bill the company 1099 as a sub-contractor for business related tasks.
Excellent English (spelling/grammar/etc) both written and spoken.
Ability to work under deadlines. I will give tasks with a deadline date and time and I will expect you to a) tell me you need more time up front, or b) deliver within the said time. I will also provide a number of hours I want you to work on a given task before stopping and sending me your work. I
Ability to use a VOIP based software (Skype). You will be not be responsible for paying the charges while conducting business over the phone.
Commitment to keep all information and data private. You will need to sign an independent contractor agreement, I will entrust you with my business information.
Ability to use MS Office 2007 Word/Excel.Calendar efficiently (basic based office tools).
Ability to use Google gmail for email. I will give you an email address emptyspaceads.com that you will send emails from for business, and davidparkinson for personal use.
Extremely professional at all times. You are representing both myself and my company.
Office hours are approximately 7AM – 5PM PST.
Ability to receive in-bound calls (while you're working). Customers may end up calling you back.
You will need to manage staff, coordinate multiple activities and some light book-keeping.
